How do I read the Bible?
Our Bible is meant to be read deeply, Fully and meant to point out to us a living God that is founded fully in Jesus Christ.
Meaning and meant to change our hearts and to help us reconcile with God.
Taking verses out of context is a poor way to read the Bible, as we are meant to encounter God through the pages of the scriptures.
Each scripture should be read with knowledge of its true meaning.
We should not take poems as scientific truths and it should be a clear declaration of God's work not as an abstract.
What is the biblical worldview?
More than one conclusion can be drawn from reading the Bible. It should not be, however, many churches teaching is to biblical truth call indoctrination.
Several churches do this and cannot seem to agree with each other.
To know you have a biblical worldview and are reading the Bible well, is the finding in growing in the double bound in the love of God.
Ways to read the Bible.
You can start at the beginning of the Bible of Genesis which is 50 chapters. Or you can start in any part of the Bible as the beginning. I would start with one chapter, and I would read up to 5 verses each day. The Bible has 66 books in total, and you can start at anyone place to begin reading. For an example of prayers in the Bible, I will refer to Psalms which has 150 versus, prayers of the Bible. In Matthews 5 through 7, you can read the sermon on the mountain which is the longest section of Jesus teaching without interruption.
The Bible has two sentence colors, black and black and red. If the King James Bible that you are using has red sentences, these are the words of Christ. Is an excellent reading, John has 21 Chapters of the Bible, I would read John which will help in getting your feet wet and the understanding of doctrinal thoughts within the Bible. You will find apostle Paul who wrote the letter to the Romans as his magnum opus that outlines the full Christian faith scope.
Revelations points out in commandments, that Jesus returns at the end as a mysteriously as He came to us the first time and that God and God's people are united eternally. Everything in the dark is exposed to the light for they better or worse.
Matthews through John tells us Jesus is born under miracle circumstances as God fully joined together with humanity once more Christ is Resurrected in eternal life confirming, He truly is the son of God. Christ ascended to heaven and called upon us to share his ways with all people.
Jesus lives a perfect and righteous loving life and teaches us the way of living and the line with God's will, and Christ's crucifixion for offering forgiveness and mercy, acts only a true agent that of God could offer.
In Genesis 1 through 11, We find that humans are made in God's image and have fallen to violence and pride. Genesis 11 Teaches us about covenant. It teaches us that God wants a relationship with us starting with Abraham. He also promised salvation and called on us to live a religiously and loving life which this relationship continues as the Hebrew people make it to their promised land called Israel.
All too often, we forget God's will when things are going great. But, in the time of Turbulence, we begin to pray, asked for forgiveness and seek salvation. We want to get back on the right track with God during turbulent times not just the good times.
Jesus had disciples who received the Holy Spirit who leads us to Christian likeness. We can learn, share, and serve in faithful obedience and have a handful of leaders such as Paul, Peter, James, and John to come forward to outline the message of Jesus Christ more directly. See Acts – Jude
Hope you enjoy your study of Christ!
